NTU Mural

Brief

To design a mural based on the theme ‘community and connection’ for one of the blank walls in the Dryden Centre located on the Nottingham Trent University estate.

Response

I wanted to capture the sense of community amongst the NTU students along Shakespeare Street. This street is the heart of our city campus. With the Dryden Centre being in the middle of this, I thought this wall would be a perfect spot to celebrate the beautiful architecture of the surrounding university buildings and the students that make NTU the lovely, inclusive community it is.

Reflect

Painting this mural was such a perfect end to my three years studying at Nottingham Trent University.  I hope to get more mural jobs in the future as I am now confident in myself that I can paint my designs on a very large scale.

A big thank you to my friends for all their help with completing the mural and to the NTU team for making this project possible!
